Norfolk helicopter crash: bird strike probed

Investigators are looking at whether an American military helicopter which crashed on a nature reserve, killing all four crew members, could have been brought down by a bird strike. Police said there was a “possibility” geese roosting on salt marshes flew into the US Air Force HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter that came down on the Norfolk coast while on a low-flying training exercise on Tuesday evening.
A senior officer from Norfolk Police said investigators were considering "many different scenarios", although the full inquiry to establish the cause of the crash is expected to last up to three months.
