Getting to Kelowna
Kelowna is serviced by 10 different air carriers. Although the only direct international flights are from Seattle, USA and various points in Mexico, you can fly to Kelowna via a number of major Canadian cities including Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. Kelowna is located on BC Highway 97, 125 km south of the Trans Canada Highway and about the same distance north of the Canada-US border at Oroville on US Highway 97. While Kelowna is not a short drive to any other major centre (i.e. 4.5 h to Vancouver, 6 h to Seattle, 7 h to Calgary) the drive there takes you through some of the most beautiful scenery in southern British Columbia.
