Westjet flight returns to YVR after alleged bird strike

A Westjet flight bound for Calgary had to return to YVR this morning after an apparent bird strike. The plane left Vancouver airport at 7 a.m. this morning, but just minutes after takeoff passengers and crew sensed a strange smell. The plane then had to burn fuel, and returned to YVR about an hour later.
