A Serene Air Boeing 737-800, registration AP-BNC performing flight ER-500 from Karachi to Islamabad (Pakistan), was on final approach to new Islamabad Airport’s runway 28L when a bird impacted and cracked the right hand windshield of the cockpit. The crew continued for a safe landing on runway 28L and taxied the aircraft to the apron.

The aircraft was still on the ground in Islamabad about 10 hours after landing.
